Full description

A Chief Officer SDPO is required to join a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) with DP2 dynamic positioning system in the United Arab Emirates. The salary offered is USD 210/day plus a client approval allowance of USD 140/day, payable after final approval, totalling USD 350/day. The rotation is 2 months on / 1 month off (unpaid). The candidate must have at least 2 years' experience as Chief Officer SDPO on offshore vessels, with more than 2000 hours logged in the DP Logbook. A valid STCW II/2 certificate (unlimited), an unlimited DP Certificate and the IMCA DP Logbook are essential. Duties include those of Chief Officer on a DP2 PSV, with responsibility for navigational watches and dynamic positioning operations. Under STCW, the Chief Officer must meet the competence requirements of regulation II/2 for cargo ships.
